I´m blogging about crypto since early 2017. It was just right before the ICO craze took off 🚀. In July 2017 I became tired of people talking about the prices. No one in the forum where I was blogging, was interested in the tech, –> so I decided to explore the decentralized communities of real crypto-enthusiasts 🙌.
All the years I was blogging on Steem-based platforms only and this is where people told me about Publish0x. Now you witness my first article here 👁.
When you are blockchain-agnostic, then you probably have much to say about all the great projects out there.
1. Step …of course start blogging ✍️!
use platforms like Publish0x to tell the world about what you have learned. Centralized services like Medium are great, but when you write there, then you work for the platform. When you write on the blockchain, the platform works for you! For all of us.
start your own blog on Publish0x. You can sign up with Twitter and Facebook!
2. create a website 🥽!
There is a reason why I would recommend anyone to start blogging on Publish0x first: A website costs money. A small income from blogging is crucial, plus it gives you the opportunity to test your content, to refine it, to get immediate feedback and to become better and better.
Build your portfolio of articles 📒
Even if you don´t earn the big money most people dream off, you build up a portfolio with content! There is ZERO time and energy wasted! Crawl through your posts and feed them into your website.
be the early bird 🐦
A good and relevant dot-com domain, especially if it contains “blockchain” or “bitcoin” can cost some money. Don´t worry there is room for creativity.
I got mine a few years ago: everything-blockchain.com
- saving your domain will cost you probably around 80$-200$ for three years
- hosting will cost you ~140$ for three year
- a WordPress-theme or something similar can cost you ~40-50$ (with some skills you can DIY)
now you see why blogging FIRST can be helpful to cover the cost of your campaign.
3. Combine the former with the later 💪
- Feed your website with content.
- use referral links to useful tools!
chose wisely 👍
Nobody likes random affiliate links. The good thing is that we have and use great tools, tools which are real. Like the Brave-Browser and Publish0x. There is nothing wrong with promoting it!
Other examples are the hardware you use. Maybe you use a Ledger or Trezor. If so, tell the world your opinion.
Write an article about exchanges. Lets face it every Newbie needs a gateway to crypto. Explain them that there are centralized and decentralized ways. Be honest, let them -your readers chose.
Examples are Binance, Kraken 🐙 even decentralized exchanges like Bitshares based Openledger have some sort of referrals.
This is how you get your Publish0x-referral code:
Yep, that´s it. Just copy it and link it on your website.
Do you want a Publish0x Header Add?
go on Banners, look for a banner which fits you needs and simply copy the link…
go to your CMS like WordPress, Wix, whatever you use and simply past the code
Now, lets check the result:
looks great 👍! Better than some scammy random add! Be in control of what you refer to your readers. My rule of thumb: only refer things which you wished to know earlier about. For me crypto-blogging is 100% one of these things.
